When we keep paddling through life, it can feel futile, but it will get us where we need to be. We will discuss having a steadfast faith and the importance of routine. We invite seasoned paddlers or beginners, men or GENERATIONS of men, to join us as we float, paddle, and camp along the Upper Brazos River near Possum Kingdom Lake.
~ Keep in mind this is a 2-night primitive camping trip, so consider your group’s capabilities, i.e., no restroom facilities. ~

The weekend will be hosted at Seaport Lodge near Port O’Connor, Texas. We’ll spend our days fishing the shallow waters of the Texas coast, targeting redfish and trout, while enjoying the beauty of God’s creation. For those who enjoy wade fishing and have their own gear, there will be opportunities to do so. For anglers who prefer fishing from the boat, all necessary gear and bait will be provided. This trip is designed for both avid fishermen and beginners alike, and will include time for fellowship, reflection, and spiritual encouragement. This trip is an outdoor backcountry experience set in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado near the town of Gunnison. Participants will stay off the grid in tents and campers, fully immersed in the natural beauty of the region. Dirt bikes, motorcycles, ATVs, and side-by-sides are welcome, offering ample opportunity to explore the surrounding terrain. In addition, nearby streams provide opportunities for fly fishing, and the area offers extensive hiking throughout the backcountry.
This experience is designed to foster meaningful relationships among Christian men while encouraging spiritual growth and leadership development.

Our Christ-centered discussion times will draw inspiration from the brackish waters around us—where salt and freshwater meet—as we reflect on the contrast between Jesus’ calling and the pull of culture and our own sinful desires. Along the way, we’ll enjoy both guided and unguided fishing, explore the area by kayak, and simply share life together.
