Relate Ministries ...

Mike Kosut, a 42-year-old husband, father, and Christ-follower that saw the need for spiritual growth in men envisioned Relate Ministries. From Montgomery, Texas, Mike was a self-drive entrepreneur chasing the American dream – money, self-happiness, worldly accomplishments, and a relationship with anyone wanting to have fun. He was shown what a Christian leader looked like in 2015. After helping decorate a church for Vacation Bible School (VBS), a life change occurred. His wife had "signed him up." After being introduced to the gospel through this event, he volunteered to help as a junior high counselor at a kids camp because "He loves a challenge." The next three days were life-changing. Mike connected with the kids through this event, changing his outlook on life. He accepted Christ on July 18, 2015, alongside many youths he was there to grow.  A fire ignited, and he volunteered continuously, leading to a full-time position at Fellowship of Montgomery in Montgomery, Texas. Through God's gifts, he was provided the opportunity to care for the congregation's facilities.  The next five years gave him the fuel he needed for this newfound flame. He grew from a self-centered, worldly achiever to a self-sacrificing, green, and growing member of Christ's church.  In 2021, Mike knew God had prepared him to do great things to advance the kingdom of God. He is now spirit-led and Christ-filled with God's guidance in growing Relate Ministries. He is called to reach the disconnected and connect them to those leading a purposeful Christ-filled life through small events and activities.
